Defect Summary

Grand design rv, llc (grand design) is recalling certain 2019-2024 grand design solitude fifth wheel trailers. the step tread joints may be unsupported, causing the tread to break.

Safety Consequence

A broken step increases the risk of injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will reinforce the current step tread with a metal bracket, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed may 22, 2025. owners may contact grand design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. grand design's number for this recall is 910048.
