Big tex trailer manufacturing, inc. (big tex trailer) is recalling certain 14rb, 14rd, 16rb, and 16rd trailers. the winch mounting hardware may be undersized and allow the winch to detach from the winch mount.
Safety Consequence
A winch that detaches can result in falling cargo, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and repair the winch, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed april 17, 2025. owners may contact big tex trailer customer service at 1-800-594-5637.
