Defect Summary

Shyft group (shyft) is recalling certain 2024-2025 blue arc ba4l-800 vehicles. the headlight horizontal adjustment stud is missing a cover, allowing for horizontal adjustment of the headlight beam. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 108, "lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment."

Safety Consequence

Adjusting the horizontal headlight beam can create a glare, or reduce visibility for the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install a cover over the horizontal adjustment studs, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed march 14, 2025. owners may contact blu arc customer service at 800-237-7806, or email evsupport@bluearcev.com.
