Defect Summary
Daimler coaches north america (daimler coaches) is recalling certain 2022-2025 mercedes benz tourrider business and premium transits buses. the fixate stop bracket on the driver's seat backrest may not be installed. as such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 207, "seating systems," and 210, "seat belt assembly anchorages."
Safety Consequence
Without a fixate stop bracket, the backrest may fold forward during a crash and increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Daimler coaches will inspect the driver's seat and install a fixate stop as necessary, free of charge. owner notification letters were mailed may 12, 2025. owners may contact daimler coaches at 1-416-624-3558. daimler coaches number for this recall is 91.10t25237a.
