Defect Summary
The involved vehicles do not comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 118, "power-operated window systems". The power-operated window system was equipped in error with a relay which makes it possible to operate the windows when the ignition key is switched off, or removed.
Corrective Action
Dealer will modify the electrical system by removing the relay from the power window system to preclude operation of the windows when the ignition key is not turned on or is removed entirely.
