Defect Summary
The gross axle weight rating (gawr) on the involved vehicles may have been incorrectly calculated and thus these vehicles may have been equipped with rear tires having an insufficient ply rating for the intended load requirement. As a result, these vehicles do not comply to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 120, "tire selection and rims for motor vehicles other than passenger cars".
Corrective Action
Dealer will replace rear tires with tires of the correct ply rating, without charge to owner.
