Defect Summary

Vehicles may contain a spring brake piston rod with improperly heat treated rollers. This may cause the rollers to be too brittle, and therefore, subject to breaking. Roller failure can cause loss of effective parking and emergency brakes on a single wheel.

Corrective Action

Vehicles with defective rollers will have the entire brake piston shaft assembly replaced at no charge.
