Defect Summary

Because of an improper stamping procedure during manufacture, defects exist which prevent washers from rotating on spindle. If these washers are not replaced, an excessive clearance will result, leading to bearing failure. In extreme cases this can result in shearing of the front stub axle.

Corrective Action

Front stub axle washers will be replaced without charge to owners.
