Defect Summary

On certain vehicles, no window release mechanisms or rear emergency exits were installed. This fails to comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 217, "bus window retention and release".

Corrective Action

New windows equipped with release mechanisms, and roof exits will be installed.
