Defect Summary

The throttle may have a protrusion which can be impeded by the fuel pump cover and cause loss of accelerator control. The interference occurs between the throttle lever stop pin and a rivet securing a side plate on the fuel pump housing.

Corrective Action

The throttle lever stop pin will be ground flush to the throttle lever on the fuel pump side.
