Defect Summary

Seat frames do not provide adequate protection in the event of an accident. This constitutes a non compliance to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 222, "school bus seating and crash protection".

Corrective Action

The seat frames will be replaced with higher quality steel seat frames on all involved vehicles.
