Defect Summary

Filaments are wired backward so that light from continuously illuminated tail lamps hides the light from intermittent stop lamp signal. consequence of defect: failure to properly signal traffic which could result in a vehicle crash.

Corrective Action

Manufacturer is furnishing correct instructions for installation in order to preclude the present problem.
