Defect Summary

The helmet fails to meet the requirements of fmvss 218 s5.1 impact attentuation, s5.2 penetration, and s5.6 labeling. consequence of defect: the helmet fails to meet the fmvss may result in injury to the wearer in the event of a severe impact.

Corrective Action

Replace helmet with one that is in compliance with fmvss 218.
