Defect Summary

The cruise control causes the throttle actuator to stick preventing the disengagement of the throttle. consequence of defect: if this occurs, the vehicle would accelerate without control and further, upon restarting the vehicle, the defect may cause rapid acceleration of the vehicle. In either case a crash could occur without warning.

Corrective Action

Replace unit with a new equivalent unit or refund the purchase price.
