Defect Summary

The spring hanger bracket may contain incorrect welds.

Safety Consequence

The brackets may become loose after extended operation.this looseness could result in breakage and axle separating from the vehicle,resulting in a risk to traffic safety and potential vehicle crash.

Corrective Action

Install set screws in the side legs of the bracket, four per bracket and welded in place.
