Defect Summary

A foreign object or substance can cause the white lock lever to be stuck in the down position at the time the chest shield is unbuckled to remove the child.

Safety Consequence

Shoulder belt could retract too far making it difficultto remove the child.

Corrective Action

Install a belt button which acts as a stop, limiting the retraction of the shoulder belt.
