Defect Summary

Seat metal laminate shield, located inside shield buckle, can break after repeated use.

Safety Consequence

This would allow the shield to separate from the buckle and thus not properly restrain the child in a sudden stop or accident.

Corrective Action

Install new shield that will be sent by fisher price to involved seat owners who call toll free number 800-527-1034.
