Defect Summary

Cable portion of safety belt assembly (female receptacle mounted inboard on left hand side, driver's side, in crew cab jump area) has been twisted.

Safety Consequence

Twisting cable reduces its holding capacity and safety bolt could fail in a crash, increasing the potential for injury to occupant.

Corrective Action

Replace safety belt assembly.
