Defect Summary

Improper park brake control valves may have been installed; the suspect vehicle have disk brakes with park brake valve designed for drum brakes.

Safety Consequence

Trucks left with park brakes engaged could begin to rollafter the disk brakes cooled, and could result in a vehicle crash withoutwarning.

Corrective Action

Replace control valve with the correct disk brake valve.
