Defect Summary

The muffler mounting brackets that attach the exhaust system and cab entry grab handle to the cab were manufactured with incomplete welds.

Safety Consequence

An incomplete weld could cause a person using the grabhandle to slip and fall resulting in personal injury.

Corrective Action

Dealers will inspect vehicles for adequate muffler bracket welds and re-weld if necessary.
