Defect Summary

The threaded insert which attaches the safety belt catch to the front seat was incorrectly manufactured.

Safety Consequence

This condition can reduce restraining capability ofthe safety belt in severe collisions.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the threaded insert in the affected front seats.
