Defect Summary

Vehicle description: transit buses equipped with marmon-herrington mc80b front steering axles. the left and right hand steering arms can crack and/or broken due to the manufacturing process.

Safety Consequence

If a steering arm breaks entirely, loss of steering control will occur increasing the risk of a vehicle accident.

Corrective Action

The steering arms will be replaced on these vehicles.
