Defect Summary

Equipment description: axles used on motor homes and travel trailers. the wheel bearings used in some of these axles have a metallurgical defect causing early failure.

Safety Consequence

A wheel bearing failure could result in the loss of the wheel end from the axle increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

Corrective Action
