Equipment description: 600 cc air conditioning compressor bracket. the bracket that secures the belt tensioning device to the compressor can fail.
Safety Consequence
Bracket failure can cause the compressor to pivot towards the vehicle engine, possibly causing damage to critical engine components, including fuel lines.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace these brackets with modified brackets.
