Defect Summary

Equipment description: level i adapters (110v charging cables) for use as a back-up power supply for 1998 ev plus honda vehicles. an open in the circuit wiring was caused by an overheating of a mechanical connection.

Safety Consequence

An electrical short and possible fire could occur due to this condition.

Corrective Action

Replacement cables were mailed to owner.
