Defect Summary

Vehicle description: these vehicles were built for the u. S. Postal service. the control switch for the back-up lights were omitted during assembly.

Safety Consequence

Other vehicles or people walking behind these vehicles may not be aware that the vehicle is backing up increasing the potential for property damage or injury to pedestrians.

Corrective Action

Postal service repair shops will be provided with a switch and wiring to connect these lights.
