Defect Summary

Vehicle description: class 4 and 5 trucks equipped with j05c-tb diesel engines. a fuel filter was damaged during the manufacturing process of the filter element.

Safety Consequence

This damaged fuel filter can crack and result in a diesel fuel leak.

Corrective Action

Dealers will replace the fuel filter on these vehicles.
