Vehicle description: motorcycles. the latch securing the passenger seat on these motorcycles can fail allowing the seat and passenger to fall off the rear of the motorcycle.
Safety Consequence
The passenger could sustain serious injuries or death.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace these seats with a new seat that incorporates an improved latch mechanism and a more rigid base. in addition, some body work around the passenger seat will be removed so that the replacement seat will fit properly.
