Defect Summary

Vehicle description: truck bodies built for penske on their truck chassis. the holes punched on the rear frame post to accommodate the grab handle installation were too large for the attachment hardware, resulting in loose-fitting handles.

Safety Consequence

Should a handle detach from the truck body while an operator is relaying on the handle for support, the operator could fall and suffer injury.

Morgan trailer is supplying penske with the repair kits necessary for this recall.
