Defect Summary

Vehicle description: motorcycles. the hose assembly supplying oil to the cylinder heads can separate at the fittings. a leak can develop causing oil to get on the tires of the motorcycle.

Safety Consequence

Oil on the tires can cause loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install replacement oil radiator hoses of improved design and materials.
