Defect Summary

Vehicle description: heavy duty trucks. the door hinge fasteners contain a defect which could cause a failure to comply with the loading requirements of fmvss no. 206, "door locks and door retention components."

Safety Consequence

In the event of a crash, the door hinge may not perform as required by the standard.
