Defect Summary
Tire description: p215/60r15 tubeless radial standard load non-adj used tires (serial nos. Utmw651447). these tires were produced without treadwear indicators that provide a visual indication when the tires are worn to a tread depth of 1/16 inch. this does not comply with the requirements of fmvss no. 119, "new pneumatic tires for vehicles other than passenger cars."
Safety Consequence
This condition could affect the long term service life of the tire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect these tires and replace, mount and balance the new tire at no charge.
