Vehicle description: trailers manufactured by various builders for straightline manufacturing. the axles and axle components can bend and even break on some units allowing the axle to strike the frame causing damage to the axle and axle assemblies.
Safety Consequence
Failure of the axles could cause the wheel and axle spindle to separate from the trailer, causing a loss of control.
Corrective Action
Straightline will replace the existing axles with new, reinforced axles.
