Defect Summary

Vehicle description: school buses equipped with 6.0l gasoline engine, 10,000 lb. Front axle, and power steering. the power steering fluid can leak as a result of a power steering fluid supply hose interference condition.

Safety Consequence

Eventually, all power steering assist would cease, resulting in a loss of steering control.

Corrective Action

Dealers will install a new power steering hose and adapter.
