Defect Summary
On certain fifth wheel travel trailers equipped with optional extended hitch pin boxes, cracking can occur in the box area of the hitch pin.
Safety Consequence
A complete failure could result in the trailer separating from the tow vehicle which could result in a crash.
Corrective Action
All six owners have been contacted by nuwa. owner notification began on october 9, 2003.
